Integrated communication system consisting of 3 mobile communication centers

Beneficiary: Romanian Ministry of Interior

The system, worth approximately one milion USD, was implemented by STIMPEX SA as leader of the consortium Stimpex SA - StarC4sys SRL - Interactive - Dendrio Solution for the Romanian Ministry of Interior in order to manage the challenges related to illegal migration, organized crime, smuggling, as well as to reduce the reaction time in emergency situations in the border area, by developing the capacity for cooperation and the exchange of information between public authorities from Romania and Moldova.

Within the project, Stimpex SA ensured the integration of all components on the car platforms, the power supply part, the pylons and the van type vehicle as well as the one intended to transport the communications in military shelters (containers), StarC4sys SRL was responsible for ensuring and installation the communication systems as it is presented below, Interactive & Dendrio Solution ensuring IT components.

The integrated communications system is capable of providing multiple communications services, namely voice/data/radio/videoconferencing, being equipped with VSAT satellite communications systems, TETRA communications systems, analog/digital VHF communications systems 136-174 MHz, microwave point-to-point in licensed frequency bands and unlicensed frequency bands, as well as a multipoint to multipoint radio system that allows the rapid and temporary implementation of broadband networks on areas up to 6 square km, by connecting to backbone local networks, VoIP, video surveillance, fiber optic extensions, backhauling.

The system consists of three mobile communication centers installed on special vehicles, as follows:
